William E. Harris
|
WILLIAM E. HARRIS practices law
in employment and tort litigation.
He practices in the areas of
wrongful termination and wage and hour disputes both on an individual
and class action basis. He has litigated cases in a variety of
contexts, including tort and personal injury, including more complex
cases such as products liability and dangerous road conditions.
Bill is admitted to practice
law in all the state courts of California and the United States
District Court, Central District of California. He has been a member
of the Los Angeles County Consumer Attorneys Association. He served
as a Judge Pro Tem on the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Bill graduated at the top of his class from Pepperdine law
School in 1977 and was a member of the Law Review. He graduated
Magna Cum Laude from Long Beach State. Prior to becoming a lawyer,
Bill was the youngest drill sergeant in the U.S. Army during the
Vietnam War. Afterwards, he worked for the California Youth Authority
Institution as a Group Supervisor (correctional officer) for eight
years while attending college and law school.

Matthew A. Kaufman |
MATTHEW A. KAUFMAN represents
employees in the areas of wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes,
and entertainment issues in greater Los Angeles and statewide.
He is admitted to practice law in all the state courts of California
and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
He has handled trials, appeals, and labor board hearings. Through
his class action work, Matthew has received extensive experience
in pre-trial procedure. Matthew has litigated numerous contract
matters as well.
Matthew is a member of the Los Angeles County
Bar Association and their Labor and Employment Section, and the
California Employment Lawyers Association. He participates regularly
in seminars on trial practice and legal ethics given by the Southern
California Business Litigation Inn of Court. Matthew is also a
member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). His
pro bono activities include obtaining restraining orders on behalf
of victims of domestic violence. He has served as a settlement
officer on the Los Angeles Superior Court's settlement program.
Matthew
graduated in 1993 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During
that time, he was Executive Editor of the school's International
Law Journal. In 1989, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History
and a Minor in Rhetoric at the University of California at Berkeley.
He plays guitar and enjoys boxing in his spare time. |
